RENAL SYSTEM
The renal system, also known as the urinary system, is responsible for filtering blood, removing waste products, and maintaining the body's fluid and electrolyte balance. It includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. The kidneys filter blood to produce urine, which is stored in the bladder and eventually excreted through the urethra. Common renal conditions include kidney stones, urinary tract infections (UTIs), chronic kidney disease, and glomerulonephritis. Proper hydration, a balanced diet, and regular medical check-ups help maintain kidney health.
